WAKO SHOP IN COOPERATION WITH EVERLAST

WAKO just want to inform about the newly established WAKO Shop in cooperation with Everlast. We have made so-called licensed products in different product categories with WAKO logo. After a period of time we will increase the number of products. WAKO have chosen Everlast as one of our partners in training and free time clothing both due to their strong brand, high quality but also because of their assortment.

Everlast will also be present at some of the WAKO Championships to sell their licensed products.

25/03-07 - WAKO AFRICAN KICKBOXING FEDERATION

Dear WAKO Friends,
I am quite happy to inform you that I am just back from Algeria where we have officially  created   the WAKO AFRICAN KICKBOXING CONFEDERATION.
It has been a hard work because .."someone"..wanted to create just an AFRICAN KICKBOXING CONFEDERATION without specifying the international link, but
I am quite hard to beat and in the end everybody  got what he wanted.

I am also pleased of informing you that we have definitely  new countries like Kenya, Cameroon, Ghana, Nigeria  and Tunisia where their national federations are officially recognized by their Government Sport Authorities.

In South Africa, Mr. Pat Carney - former representative of WPKA and WKF-, joined forces with
 Eddie and Paul Cave  and joined our organization.
Even in South Africa the kickboxing body is officially recognized.

WAKO kickboxing will be present with FULL CONTACT only in the next AFRICAN GAMES, scheduled in Alger (Algeria)  from 10th to 16th July 2007.

WAKO is growing. No doubt about that!

14/03-07 - NEWS BULLETIN
Hello members!

GAISF have made a new design on their website www.agfisonline.com. We as members have the possibility through its intranet to adjust and complete information ourselves. If you look at “members” you will se our name and location (just klick on our name) and under “calendar” you can choose kickboxing and you can find our complete kickboxing calendar with links etc. We will also publish news from time to time. Just for you to know.

WAKO will be a part of the GAISF General Assembly and SportAccord www.sportaccord.com in Beijing at the end of April. Beside the General Assembly we will take part of various meetings and we will have a follow up meetings with all the GASIF Martial Art Sport to continue to establish Martial Art Games. Also we will have a meeting with a delegate from IOC.

WAKO have made new information brochures that are available at the WAKO HQ. They will be sent out to everyone. We do hope you like them and that it gives a good impression of WAKO and our fantastic sport.

Also, WAKO will present new and updated rules during the spring. We will mail out everything and also put it all on the website when ready.

WAKO’s next board meeting will be in Milano Saturday 2 June.

Remember our calendar. Upcoming events now are Austrian Classics, Germany Open, Boznia Open, Judgment Day, World Cups in Hungary and Italy. A lot of activities to the best for our athletes and all under WAKO rules. Good luck in this participation.

Nedenfor vil du se foreløpig oppsatte turneringer i WAKO regi. Denne listen blir suplert etterhvert som datoer og innbydelser blir gjort kjent. Jeg prøver å få alle innbydeler tilsendt i pdf og disse blir lagt inn under hver aktivitet i NKBF’s Terminliste. Nedenfor vil dere også se foreløpige arrangører av VM og EM osv. • All dates and details are to be sent separately after agreements between WAKO and the different promoters.
• All future regional championships have to be decided by the board together with the regional president and the promoter. This is to coordinate the international activity calendar.
